Job Title Manager - Ground Operations Department: Flight Training Program: Salary: $59,724 - $88,987; commensurate with experience Job Summary/Basic Function: The Ground Operations Manager, as a direct report to the Director of Aerospace – Airport Operations (DAAO), is responsible for the strategic management of ground operations for the MTSU Flight Training Program to ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency. Performs other related tasks and special projects as assigned. Key Responsibilities: - Operational Oversight: Oversees daily ramp operations, including aircraft ground movements, servicing, and parking. - Scheduling and Dispatch: Effective execution of aircraft scheduling strategy, including oversight of aircraft dispatch operations - Safety and Compliance: Works closely with Assistant Director of Flight Training, Flight Training Managers, Manager of Aircraft Maintenance, and other key stakeholders to maximize safety, optimize operational efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance. - Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, evaluate, and develop Ground Operations Coordinators and 70+ student dispatch/line service personnel. - Maintenance Coordination: Coordin...
