Sports Instructor - Jr. Celtics Youth Sports Coach Department: Center Staff: Employment Type: Part Time: Location: Oak Square YMCA: Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 / hour Description: The YMCA is searching for a sports instructor to lead a group of children ages 3 to 14 instructing sports classes. Classes are on weekday afternoons and weekend mornings. Candidate must possess excellent child/parent communication skills, expertise in a variety of sports and the ability to work independently. POSITION SUMMARY :This position develops, organizes and implements the following YMCA programs: youth, teen and adult sports, preschool enrichment classes. This position reports to the Youth and Enrichment Director. Key Responsibilities: Essential Functions: 1. Directs and supervises program activities to meet YMCA objectives. Establishes new program activities and expands programs within the community in accordance with strategic and operating plans.
