Sign on Bonus up to $5,000 Summary: Under the supervision and/or direction of a Registered Professional Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, performs various duties assisting in the care and treatment of patients/residents in accordance with established policies and procedures. Understands and adheres to GCMC’s Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies. Keeps abreast of all pertinent federal, state and GCMC regulations, laws, and policies as they presently exist and as they are changed or modified. Experience: - Experience working with the elderly population preferred. - Must be listed in good standing on the New York State Nurse Aide Registry as a Certified Nursing Assistant with no findings of abuse, mistreatment, neglect or misappropriation of property/funds. Education: High School graduate or GED preferred Essential Functions: 1. Performs routine patient/resident care duties under the direction of the Registered nurse or LPN. 2.
