Are you a driven self-motivated individual, open to new challenges and would like the opportunity to play a part in developing a number of policies and legislation that will have a major impact on rural land use for generations to come? The Policy Advisor – Common Agricultural Policy and the Scottish Rural Development Programme Policy Replacement role is a critical part of the Agriculture and Rural Communities (Scotland) Act 2024 which came into force on 16 June 2025. This exciting opportunity will offer you the chance to develop and deliver agricultural reform and legislative change and gain direct experience of the Scottish Parliamentary process. It is a crosscutting outward facing high profile post with direct engagement with Scottish Ministers, regional and national stakeholders and UKG colleagues.
