Job Overview: Under direction of Construction Manager, provide support to soil excavation activities including loading trucks and transport soil for stockpile/disposal, then transport backfill for site restoration and revegetation. May be required to assist in general labor duties. Truck Drivers will be paid federal prevailing wage for work performed. Project Description: Residential remedial excavation and backfill of 40 properties, metals contaminated soils. The base company wage for the CDL Truck Driver position is $35.00 per hour. However, for this project, the CDL Truck Driver position will be paid the Federal prevailing wage for work performed. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities: - Use of Dump trucks (12-15 yd) and Water Trucks (2k) - Operate trucks in safe manner in residential communities - Will before labor tasks - Ability to work in team environment in safe and productive manner - Be safe and professional while working in residential communities Basic Qualifications: - Civil Construction and/or environmental work experience - Must live within daily commute of Jackson, CA - No Felonies - Clean driving record with valid license - Dependable transportation and cell phone...
