Varied hours based on department needs Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities Assists the cardiologist and/or vascular surgeon in the performance of diagnostic and invasive cardiac, vascular and EP procedures. Assists the physician in permanent pacemaker implantation and ICD implants. Shares the responsibility in the acquisition and processing of state-of-the-art imaging and the efficient operation of equipment in the interventional and diagnostic labs. Participates in hemodynamic monitoring, scrubbing and circulating duties. Obtains vital data regarding patient’s hemodynamic status and informs physician of any abnormal measurements or changes in patient status. Maintains adequate levels of inventory in assigned procedure and restocks inventories as needed. Reports to the Nurse Manager and Director Utilizes aseptic technique for patient and table preparation. Monitors and documents all essential hemodynamic measurements throughout diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures.
