Job Summary: Under general direction of the Pharmacy Specialists for Operations and Clinical Services, the Per-Diem pharmacist performs a variety of professional level functions to assist in providing patients with optimum pharmaceutical care. The pharmacist's efforts are directed primarily toward reviewing medication orders, conducting interventions with nurses and physicians and overseeing/checking the work of technicians, including the dispensing of medications and pharmaceutical preparations.
