EPP oversees long-term energy portfolio planning, risk management, and compliance functions. The Structured Energy Transactions (SET) department negotiates and executes wholesale power purchase agreements for energy generation and storage resources and procures energy products to meet policy objectives cost-effectively. Within SET, the Energy Transactions Team manages the purchase and sale of wholesale electric commodities. This includes structuring, originating, negotiating, and executing transactions for a variety of products including physical and financial energy, resource adequacy (capacity), and greenhouse gas-free energy.
