Operating Room RN (Per Diem)

Job description

Position Summary: Assists clinical director in organization and daily function of the operating room in accordance with established Federal, State, and accreditation standards and center policies and procedures. Assists clinical director in overseeing patient care activities in the operating room and maintains a high standard of safety for the patient and other staff members. Performs circulation and/or scrub nurse duties. In the OR assists surgeon in a variety of surgical procedures. Responsible for maintenance of equipment, adequate supply inventory, Operating Room orientation and complete and accurate medical records.
