Westermo is currently recruiting a Technical Support Engineer to join ourteam in Västerås where you will have the opportunity to work with advanced data communication and industrial network technology as well as customer service in a great combination! Are you our new Technical Support Engineer? As Technical Support Engineer your main task will be to provide 2nd line product- and application support to customers and colleagues around the world. You will work in a small, close-knit team and report to the Support Manager. You will provide support primarily for routers and switches, but also extenders, converters and modems among other products. To solve the issues, you will trouble shoot, reproduce problems in your own lab environment. In your interaction with customers, you will mainly use case management system and email, but also phone and in some cases face-to-face meetings in order to support or train the customers.
