Description We are currently seeking an extraordinary Banquet professional to lead our banquet efforts in the role of Banquet Captain. As a Banquet Captain , you will be responsible for the overall success of the hotel meeting's food and beverage service. You will assist in managing the entire banquet staff to ensure high-quality execution of receptions, meetings, and events. This position may require flexible scheduling availability. Requirements: Job Requirements: - Analyze Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) - Effectively communicate with customers, managers, and associates to ensure that all room set-ups, equipment, and supplies, staffing and menus meet/exceed customer's expectations - Attend BEO meetings - Conduct monthly departmental meetings and pre-shift meetings with staff to go over functions, procedures, and assignments - Assemble the banquet service before mealtime and disassemble it thereafter - Ensure the banquet service space remains well-stocked at all times - Receive beverage orders and direct these to the kitchen as needed - Clearing cutlery and crockery from customers' tables - Clean and sanitize tables, countertops, and floors after each meal service - Coordinate qualit...
