MC: Hospitality Services-( Part Time, Weekends) - Job Summary: The Host greets and screens each patient, visitor and guest. Uses GRETE principles when welcoming them to the hospital with enthusiasm and professionalism. Ascertains the needs of the guest and answers any questions in a professional and courteous manner. Provides information about the facility and answers any questions. Assists guests by directing or escorting them to their correct destination. Controls guest access and passage into the facility. These services may be provided for the LLUMC, LLUCH, LLUECH or LLUSH hospitals. Performs other duties as needed. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum one year of experience in public relations, customer service or clerical preferred. Knowledge and Skills: Read, write legibly, and speak clearly in English (bilingual preferred) with professional quality, push/pull wheelchairs; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
