Construction Manager Department: Construction: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Lakeland: Reporting To: Director of Construction and Project Management Description: The Construction Manager will oversee and coordinate various construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that schedules and budgets are followed. They will select, contracts, and oversee laborers and outside contractors for specific needs to ensure that work meets quality standards and adheres to specifications. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain a list of preferred and qualified vendors to perform underground, in building and aerial construction. Establish and maintain fair and competitive project and piece rate prices for vendors through MSAs. - Establish and monitor construction and safety standards through consistent quality control checks on each project to ensure compliance with design and contract specifications. - Work closely with the Construction Coordinator(s) to oversee the proper execution of each project including customer friendly implementation, safety standards, timeline adherence and compliance with contract and budget specifications. - Direct your team while coordinating closel...
