Healthcare Assistant (Bank) Meriden Hospital Bank Shifts Salary: Up to £12.71 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification) We have an opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join their team of staff in the XXX department. This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence. Duties of this role include: - Assist patients with personal hygiene, washing, dressing, toileting, oral care, and mobility needs, respecting their preferences and dignity. - Help patients with eating, drinking, and nutritional support, including documenting intake where appropriate. - Provide comfort and emotional support to patients and relatives, creating a caring and safe environment. - Carry out and accurately record routine observations such as blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, temperature, oxygen saturation, and blood glucose levels (after appropriate training). - Support basic clinical procedures, including wound care setup, assisting with catheter care, pressure area prevention, and mobility aids. - Prepare and mai...
