Building Location: St Marys Hospital - Detroit Lakes Department: 1006160 REGISTRATION - EH SS Job Description: This PRN Position will work weekends, and be able to pick up shifts as needed in both the clinic and the Emergency Department. This position will also be apart of the holiday rotation. Responsible to facilitate the patient registration flow, including such activities as point of service patient identification; gathering demographic information; securing financial, third-party, and sponsorship data; obtaining required signatures and documents needed for compliance; and appropriately collecting co-payment and reconciling cash. May also be responsible for pre-registration, scheduling, benefit verification, pre-admission, and ED patient arrivals.
