Job description

SUMMARY: The Quality Inspector II is responsible for performing inspections of incoming materials, parts, and finished products to ensure all products meet quality standards. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This role does not have supervisory responsibilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Inspect in-process and finished product as required by established procedures. - Accurately document the results of inspection and testing results. - Perform careful inspections and enforcements of Quality Standards. - Maintain all controlled document files of the inspections and testing results. - Document and report product or service quality levels. - Communicate with the Production and Quality Team Members to solve problems. - Maintain records of measuring devices to ensure compliance to standards of QAP, AS9100 and ISO9001. - Record and indicate instruments are in tolerance and gauges are sent to approved labs. - Evaluate problems and make recommendations for possible corrective actions. - Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation. - Document, develop and maintain calibration system, procedures, and records. - Ability to read and interpret blueprint...
