APPLICATION DEADLINE: 5/18/2026: Job Summary: The Chart Prep Nurse is an integral part of the surgical and procedural team. The Chart Prep Nurse is responsible for organizing and completing the patient chart and conducting the pre-op phone call for scheduled cases. The Chart Prep Nurse works collaboratively with scheduling, pre-op, the operating room and physician offices to ensure chart completeness and readiness for the day of the scheduled surgery/procedure. The Chart Prep Nurse communicates with the mentioned departments and any others as necessary regarding any changes or special needs to ensure all departments are prepared. Hours: - .75 FTE - 30 Hours Per Week - 10-Hour Shifts Essential Job Functions: - Advocate for patients’ rights, preferences, and needs, ensuring that they receive high-quality, compassionate care that is tailored to their individual circumstances - Project a professional demeanor and appearance while maintaining the confidentiality of the patient, coworkers, and the organization, as appropriate - Review patient medical history, current medications, allergies, and surgical consent forms; identifying potential risks and report abnormalities to the surgical o...
