Classification: Full-Time, 10-month position Start Date: August 2026 Schedule: Standard school day Reports To: Upper School Division Head What You'll Do: Inspire Psychological Thinking & Scientific Inquiry You'll teach 4 sections of courses (15-18 students each, 2-3 preps) designed to engage, challenge, and inspire students - with primary focus on AP Psychology. - Teach AP Psychology using inquiry-based, discussion-rich approaches that prepare students for the AP exam while fostering genuine understanding and curiosity about human behavior - Design purposeful curriculum that connects psychological concepts to students' lived experiences and contemporary issues - Teach history and/or social studies courses (grades 9-12) as part of your teaching load, bringing interdisciplinary connections and psychological perspectives to historical and social topics - Use multi-modal instruction to reach diverse learners - discussions, experiments, case studies, primary research analysis, applications, debates, projects, and authentic assessments - Create assessments that measure deep understanding, critical thinking, and scientific reasoning (not just memorization) - Develop a classroom culture of...
