Job description

Expert level clinician with the ability to support and direct patient care services. Responsible for overall throughput of patients in a safe, efficient manner while ensuring optimal utilization of resources (including but not limited to caregivers, equipment and supplies) to meet patient care needs. Position is responsible as a single point of contact for caregivers, physicians, and others for patient transfer or placement. Position promotes patient satisfaction as a leader by demonstration of extraordinary service to ensure that quality patient care is delivered in accordance with Providence Health & Services' mission, vision and values. Position has authority to make leadership decisions, provide direction and oversight with operational issues for all hospital departments on behalf of Administration during assigned shift.
