Description Status: 16HRS/WK: Job Summary: The Maintenance I/ Grounds Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repair, and grounds keeping duties to ensure a safe, functional, and aesthetically maintained healthcare environment. This position supports the hospital’s mission by maintaining building systems, exterior grounds, and infrastructure in compliance with safety, regulatory, and infection control standards. Essential Job Duties: Ground Maintenance Job Duties: - Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on hospital equipment, systems, and infrastructure. - Assist skilled trades (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry) as needed. - Conduct preventative maintenance tasks as assigned. - Respond to maintenance work orders in a timely and efficient manner. - Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and orderly condition. - Assist with moving furniture, equipment, supplies, and cars as required.
