Department Overview Oregon Health & Science University is a nationally prominent research university and Oregon's only public academic health center. As a major regional referral center, OHSU has a varied caseload. Annually the lab processes over 3500 bone marrow specimen and ~4500 flow samples that need hematopathologists interpretation. The Department of Pathology has a collegial faculty, AP/CP residency program, and eight post-graduate fellowship programs. OHSU offers a variety of collaborative research opportunities and is home to the Knight Cancer Institute, an international leader in research and cancer treatment. This position is under the overall supervision of the Department Chair and Vice Chair of Clinical Pathology. The appointee shall provide services, as assigned by the supervisor, in furtherance of the university’s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service.
