Job description

The Role: Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application. - Carry out a range of duties associated with maintaining the cleanliness of food preparation equipment, food disposal and waste management areas in a clean hygienic state with the Launceston General Hospital (LGH). - Ability to maintain all food service equipment and surfaces in a clean and hygienic state. - Experience in floor cleaning, pot wash and the use of cleaning chemicals inside a production kitchen. - Ability to understand both written and verbal instructions, and to cooperate with other personnel within the department to work successfully as a team. - An understanding of, and ability to comply with, workplace health and safety requirements.
