LEAD Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine (SOM) Rowan Medicine, an affiliate of Virtua Medical Group Location: Mt. Laurel, NJ: Summary: Primary responsibility is to administer care management and coordinate activities for the patients, in addition to provide direct patient care, assist provider with procedures, perform in a technical capacity providing support to the Practice Supervisor and Medical Director to best serve the needs of the patient panel and the specialty care teams. Performs duties in support of the University’s and the school’s mission and in accordance with all applicable policies and procedures. As directed by physician, administers vaccinations and intramuscular and subcutaneous injections in limited circumstances, which may be delegated under State Regulations. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Duties: - Prepares exam room and sterilize medical instruments and equipment for tests and procedures.
