Overview & Responsibilities The Donora Service Center is in search of a qualified manual machinist. The position requires off shifts availability, weekends and holidays. Occasional voluntary domestic travel opportunities to other Elliott locations. To perform all the required layout, set-up, manual machining, subassembly, tool setting, deburring parts, broaching keyways, dimension checking, movement of parts materials and assemblies process. All shop machining works included but limited to the following: Machining rotors, Machining diaphragms, Machining seals, Machining disks, Machining Casings, and Grinding Shafts. Qualifications: 3-5 years' experience in manual machining or related, manual equipment including but not limited to Horizontal Lathes, Vertical Lathes, Mills, Grinders, and Drill Presses. Will consider candidates with less years of experience. CNC machining experience preferred, not required. High school diploma, GED, or Trade School experience desired, not required. Candidate must be willing & available to work off shifts, as well as flexibility to work weekends, holidays & overtime.
