Job description

Under the supervision of the Development Services Manager, this position is responsible for activities related to interpretation and application of development codes and ordinances, the review and processing of development proposals and zoning code enforcement. This position is also responsible for supervising the maintenance of development-related records, maintain databases, and researching and recommending changes to development codes, ordinances and development review procedures. Key Responsibilities and Performance Standards: - Assists in the processing of subdivision and development plans, site plans and other development-related projects. - Interprets the application of codes and ordinances to development projects and consults with senior staff and representatives of other departments and agencies. Coordinates activities with other departments to share pertinent information and the efficient use of resources. - Meet with applicants to review the requirements of development codes and ordinances.
