Core responsibilities Audit and Compliance: Reviewing case files, beneficiary applications, and client interactions to verify they meet established standards and regulations. Case Review: Inspecting client eligibility determinations for programs like Medicaid to detect and correct discrepancies. Process Improvement: Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement in service delivery and implementing new procedures or revisions to existing ones. Reporting: Preparing detailed reports on quality control findings, non-conformities, and recommendations for corrective actions to upper management and stakeholders. Training & Mentoring: Providing guidance and training to social workers and case managers on compliance best practices and correct procedures. Investigating Non-Conformity: Following up on errors to trace their root cause and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Key skills and knowledge: Program Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of SNAP, Medicaid and TANF programs. Attention to Detail: Meticulous auditing is necessary to spot small inaccuracies.
