What you will do: The Engineering Manager will plan , lead and control ongoing engineering processes and activities for their area, ensuring a full understanding of risks and priorities, and to oversee all activities to ensure they are carried out effectively. You will drive the continuous improvement mindset to eliminating repeat failures and ensure your team are prioritising correctly so thus we are always focusing on the areas to give the largest gains. You will act as the appointed Engineer in Charge (EIC) to comply with EIS 5 High Voltage Safety Rules. The role will also give you the responsibility to lead the Plant Engineers assigned budgets and direct, lead, coach, develop and motivate employees to ensure the accountabilities of the area are delivered and to enable them to maximise their potential.
