Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Provide skilled electrical expertise to subordinates and their crews in all phases of construction. - Coordinate work schedules in conjunction with the foreman - Plan layout; install and repair wiring and electrical fixtures such as motors, generators, switches, circuit breakers, and fuse boxes - Inspect wiring and fixtures for conformance to company specifications and local electrical codes. - Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment such as motors - Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit, and moving and lifting heavy objects - Adhere to production schedules and work hour requirements for completion of job assignments. - Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders on assigned projects - Analyze and resolve work problems or assist co-workers in solving work problems - Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure compatibility and safety of the system - Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools,...
