Travel: This position will be based out of our facility in Springfield, MA and will require travel to support other Smith & Wesson facilities during various projects. Travel is necessary to attend industry events to maintain expertise. Visiting integrators will be required to evaluate capabilities and perform status checks during projects. Travel will be more frequent when project implementation occurs. SCOPE – The Advanced Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for leading projects within Smith & Wesson to improve production efficiency, quality, cost, and safety through advanced manufacturing technologies, robotics, integration and process control.
