Position Summary: The Urodynamics Specialist at Associated Medical Professionals of NY (AMP) manages the Urodynamics procedural area and assists the physician in the analyzation of symptoms and problems with the urinary tract through testing of the bladder function. Performs specialized investigative techniques using highly advanced urodynamic measuring equipment on patients with genitourinary problems in order to study, record, and assist the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of urological disorders. Provides specialty-nursing patient care in an environment where quality, respect, and compassion are at the center of all we do. Essential Functions: Administrative - Performs UDS across the AMP offices, with primary employment in the Syracuse office. - The RN/LPN directs the provider patient schedule throughout the day. - The RN/LPN greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner and escorts the patient to the examination room. - Schedules patient appointments and medical procedures (x-rays and diagnostic testing) in the EMR under the direction of the medical staff. - Is responsible for stocking and ordering of medical supplies and checking expiration da...
