JOB TITLE: Lead Produce Clerk DEPARTMENT: 005 – Produce: JOB STATUS: Non-Exempt: REPORTS TO: Produce Manager, Store Director, Management Staff Starting rate of pay: $21.12/hr: Under the direction of the department head and/or manager, the Lead Produce Clerk provides customers with friendly and efficient service. The Lead Produce Clerk unloads, receives, warehouses, prices, stocks, faces merchandise. Prepares and posts signs and labels to ensure proper pricing for the merchandise. Operates cash registers as necessary. Provides assistance with the ordering and inventory of the merchandise, housekeeping, security and safety standards of the department. *Denotes essential job functions.
