Job Posting Title: Temporary Upward Bound Tutor Job Description: Title of Job: Temporary Upward Bound Tutor POSITION SUMMARY: The Harvey Mudd College Upward Bound Program is a federally funded program designed to help low-income, potential first-generation college students generate the skills and motivation necessary to complete a program of secondary education and to enter and succeed in a program of postsecondary education. High school students from the East San Gabriel Valley participate in Upward Bound during the school year and the summer. During the academic year, students participate in weekly tutorials at their high school and monthly programs on the Harvey Mudd College Campus.
