Description The Department of Pediatrics at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone Health is seeking a full-time academic physician to join the Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology as Director of Pediatric Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapies. The Director will lead an expanding, FACT-accredited pediatric stem cell and cellular therapy program, with responsibility for clinical, operational, research, and educational activities. The program provides blood, bone marrow, and stem cell transplantation and cellular therapies to children and adolescents across the full sprectrum of malignant ad non-malignant hematologic and oncolgic diseases. Successful candidates will have a demostrated commitmnt to clinical practice and scholary activities and will be responsible for fostering programmatic development. The director will have access to a rich ecosystem of resources including: The Perlmutter Cancer Center: An NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, and world-class researchers in cancer, immunology, stem cell biology, and developmental therapeutics.
