The Speech-Language Pathologist assists in ensuring the health and well-being of residents by developing and implementing individualized speech-language therapy treatment plans and providing high-quality therapeutic services. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the highest degree of quality care at all times. Responsibilities: Evaluate residents to determine speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings Provide speech-language therapy services in accordance with physician orders and facility standards Conduct audiometric screenings upon request and recommend further audiology services as appropriate Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards Collaborate with interdisciplinary team member...
