Location: 2721 N Central Ave, Phoenix, Arizona 85004 United States of America Amerco Real Estate Company is seeking a full-time Planner. In this position, you will work alongside the land use and zoning team and be responsible for the land planning, graphic preparation, municipal entitlements, and plan preparation of our commercial property portfolio in the U.S. and Canada. You will work directly under the supervision of the management team including the Director of Land Use and Zoning and the President of AREC. Please note that this is an in-person position located in Midtown Phoenix from 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday, remote work is not available. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Research and prepare analysis of municipal zoning codes Negotiate and finalize entitlements from municipalities Process applications for rezoning, tentative maps, development agreements, design reviews, general plan amendments, and variances Attend and present at virtual hearings, pre-application meetings, etc. Develop and manage relationships with municipal staff and officials Understand and clearly communicate the needs of different jurisdictions to internal and external stakehold...
