Supervisor Operations 260015X Description: Supervises and directs the daily operations of an assigned area and leads the shift team of unit operators and assistants to ensure safe, efficient and reliable operations in order to meet refinery targets, production goals, and HS&E objectives. Ensures the safety of all personnel by enforcing safety expectations, performing routine safety observations, and assessments of the shift team and maintenance activities. Reviews and enforces refinery safety and environmental practices and procedures in assigned area with operating crews on specific jobs, shutdown and start-up procedures, routine and abnormal operation Supports incident response in the refinery Ensures proper relief and management of the shift utilizing policies, procedures, and processes developed for proper shift management. Ensuring the effectiveness of operator rounds. Updates to the Shift Superintendent on any performance issues. Drives on-shift safety, housekeeping, and VPP efforts.
