Lawrence Doors, Inc., a leader in the commercial door industry, and a part of Amarr / ASSA ABLOY Group (the global leader in opening solutions) is looking for an experienced Shipping and Receiving Lead for our Baldwin Park Factory. Willingness to work overtime a must. The Shipping and Receiving Lead oversees logistics operations, ensuring efficient movement of goods, training staff, and maintaining quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Manage Shipping and Receiving Operations : Oversee all shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of goods. Team Leadership : Train and supervise shipping and receiving staff, acting as a liaison between management and the team. Quality Control : Perform quality checks on outgoing shipments to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Documentation and Compliance : Maintain accurate shipping records, including packing lists and bills of lading (BOL), ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. Collaboration : Work closely with production teams, customer service, and logistics partners to coordinate shipment statuses and resolve discrepancies.
