Float Phlebotomist position located at our Patient Service Centers in Centerville, Springboro, Middletown, Lebanon, Hamilton, Liberty Township, & West Chester Part-Time Day Shift (7:30 AM - 5:00 PM) with Weekend Rotation Full-Time Day Shift (7:30 AM - 5:00 PM) with Weekend Rotation Position Summary: The Phlebotomists/Processor collects, and processes laboratory specimens in Sunquest 8.1. Responsibilities: Qualifications: - Ensure venipuncture and capillary punctures align with PSC policy with high accuracy. - Gather specimens across all age groups, proficient in urine drug screen collection. - Complete requisitions accurately, adhering to Patient Services procedures. - Properly handle patient identification and specimen processing. - Label and prepare specimens correctly for testing. - Verify billing information for accuracy. - Skilled in collecting PCR nasopharyngeal swabs and performing POCT testing. - Retrieve, process, and store specimens as per protocol. - Utilize Sunquest 8.1 for Specimen Receipt and Decant functions. - Maintain appropriate specimen storage temperatures and prepare batches for transport. - Manage order and specimen flow within the PSC/IOP. - Assist in trouble...
