Position Title Cancer Center Procedural Resource RN - Team Lead Days - Full Time: Westwood Medical Pavilion - West: Position Summary / Career Interest: Provides professional nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions: - Serves as the primary clinical support for procedural specialties, demonstrating expertise and knowledge of all aspects of peri-procedural care through mentoring, education, and role modeling. This role facilitates the advancement, efficiency, and effectiveness of the delivery of care in the procedural area. - Coordinates patient information such as lab results, radiology reports, history and physicals and physician orders in an efficient organized manner to facilitate safe and efficient workflow. - Prepares and assists the physician with procedures (positioning of patient, prep of appropriate site, obtaining correct medications and supplies). - Performs patient assessment by assimilating data about the patients physiological and psychosocial status, safety concerns, self -care, educational needs, supportive services needs, and discharge planning. - Performs appropriate follow up...
