Position Status: Full time Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift (United States of America) Hours per week: 36 Job Information Exemption Status: Non-Exempt A Brief Overview: Intermediate Care nurses provide direct care or influence care for acutely ill adult patients who are moderately stable with an elevated risk for instability. These patients require a high intensity of care and vigilance. Intermediate Care nurses practice in settings where patients require complex assessment and interventions. These nurses are required to refine their assessment skills supported by invasive/non-invasive technology. Education Qualifications: Bachelors of Science: Nursing (BSN) Preferred Skills and Abilities: Demonstrates awareness and sensitivity to rights of patient/significant other, as identified within the institution. (Required proficiency) Demonstrates awareness and application of safety issues as identified within the institution. (Required proficiency) Demonstrates awareness of legal issues in all aspects of patient care and departmental functioning.
