Housekeeping Supervisor POSITION SUMMARY: The Housekeeping Supervisor helps create a joyful and vibrant community by overseeing all housekeeping operations including hiring, training, and supervising housekeeping staff. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Supports dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents. - Supervises the day-to-day housekeeping functions of assigned personnel. - Must have high standards of cleanliness, have the ability to work within the budgetary guidelines, and be able to develop staff to do the job. - Assigns personnel to specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments. - Coordinates daily housekeeping services when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas. - Ensures that personnel are performing assigned tasks in accordance with established housekeeping procedures. - Ensures that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable and attractive manner. - Ensures that housekeeping personnel follow established safety precautions when performing tasks and when using equipment and supplies. - Ensures that established Infection Control practices are mai...
