Requirements: What You'd Actually Be Doing: Caring for the baby (this comes first) Be the primary caregiver during 2-4 hour blocks so one parent can work, rest, or step away Hold, soothe, play, and engage in age-appropriate ways Coordinate with parents around naps and feeding (they handle feeding and naps directly) Create a calm, safe environment. The family follows an attachment-based parenting approach and will share their philosophy with you during onboarding One or both parents are usually home or nearby Keeping the home running: Daily resets: dishes, kitchen cleanup, picking up baby items and clutter, trash and recycling Laundry: wash, dry, fold, and put away for the household (washer/dryer on-site) Light food support: grocery shopping, fridge organization, simple prep.
