Security Administrator

Job description

Under limited supervision, the Security Administrator is responsible for assisting security leadership with the overall operation and supervision of the Security Department and security staff, and will assist in the development, education, training and implementation of security policies, procedures and strategies to ensure the protection of patients, visitors, staff, property, buildings and grounds. The Security Administrator is responsible for the direct supervision of the Security Department’s team members to included but not limited to scheduling, time and attendance, corrective actions, education, training, and ensuring the compliance of GBMC Security Department policies, procedures and practices. The Security Administrator is responsible for assisting GBMC Security Officer 3’s who have direct supervision of a shift with shift operations and/or administrative issues. Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
