Job Description Job Summary: The Maintenance/Janitor (Unskilled) position is responsible for performing janitorial/maintenance duties within the Oakland Arena-Alameda County Coliseum. Starting at $20.50 per hour. Duties & Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance duties as assigned (vacuum, sweep, mop floors, clean/sanitation bathrooms, sinks, counter tops and refrigerators; dust and clean interior windowsills/windows and any other areas in need of cleaning. Empty trash cans, replace liners and clean receptacles; recycle as instructed. Use industrial chemical and equipment to clean a variety of surfaces. Finish all assigned work within allotted time and in a satisfactory manner. Responsible for notifying leads and/or supervisors of all cleaning tasks neglected. Leave all work areas clean and in order. Adhere to AEG policies and procedures including company wide sustainability initiatives. Maintain compliance with all ASM/OCJV/CalOSHA safety policies and procedures. Ability to work irregular extended hours -- includes nights (graveyard shifts), weekends, and holidays.
