Description Position Summary: At St. John Bosco Child Development Center the Child Caregiver provides attentive, nurturing care to children in a licensed childcare facility. Responsibilities include supervising children, assisting with daily routines, and supporting a safe, healthy, and developmentally appropriate environment in compliance with Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) Minimum Standards. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and engage with children to ensure their safety and well-being. - Assist with feeding, diapering, toileting, and nap routines as needed. - Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development through age-appropriate activities. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment. - Observe and report any signs of illness, injury, or abuse according to center policies and Texas DFPS regulations. - Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures. - Communicate respectfully and clearly with parents, staff, and supervisors. - Participate in ongoing training and staff meetings.
