Job Details: Maintenance Generalist – Starting pay Range: $22.00 - $31.45/hr Shift Sunday-Wednesday or Thursday-Sunday (every Sunday is required) 12 hour shift –8am -8pm Functions: Ÿ To maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture Ÿ Receive training as required Ÿ Perform various positions as required/assigned Description: This position is responsible for general maintenance throughout the plant while adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Tasks: Must be able to use basic hand tools. Requires: basic mechanical or maintenance skills, knowledge in areas of welding, hydraulics, basic electricity, power transmission, pneumatics & plumbing, 1 year or more experience in welding and industrial maintenance, able to read & understand assignments, able to communicate orally & in writing, able to hear/respond to two-way radio, able to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders up to 60 feet, able to stand for long periods of time, withstand extreme hot, cold, inclement weather & odors , basic knowledge of math, able to use various electrical & pneumatic power tools & equipment.
