Collects, inputs, and verifies prescription, refill, and patient information and maintains patient records. 2. Assists pharmacists in filling orders and preparing labels for unit doses and prepackaged pharmaceuticals. 3. Receives and stocks incoming medical supplies and drugs. 4. Assists with compounding (didactic and/or basic hands-on). 5. Participates in assigned training program and continuing education activities to attain competency in different technician duty areas. 6. Volunteers for extra assignments and/or cross training in other department roles and responsibilities of a pharmacy technician. May volunteer to participate in a temporary taskforce/short-term committee. 7. Acts as an informal resource for other technicians with less experience. 8.
