About the unit Point Of Care Unit. About the hospital: Corewell Health Regional Laboratory serves many types of patients and providers. The lab is located on the Butterworth campus and serves inpatients from Butterworth (including Level 1 Trauma Center), Meijer Heart Center, and Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. It also serves many outpatient draw sites and offices, along with medical examiner cases across several counties in Michigan.
