Right-of-Way Mapping Technician Department: Survey/Geomatics: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Jacksonville, FL: Description: DRMP is seeking a Right-of-Way Mapping Technician/Specialist to assist Professional Surveyor and Mapper in application of principles, methods, and techniques of Surveying. Minimum 3 years of experience in Surveying/Right of Way mapping production. Your Primary Responsibilities will include: · Basic calculations for field crews.· Review and verify accuracy of bench runs.· Review and verify accuracy of field traverse.· Review and compare crew field book information to final maps.· Prepare sketch and descriptions from field collected data.· Perform processing utilizing GPS processing software.· Prepare Right-of-way Control Maps.· Prepare Right-of-way Maps.· Complete project logs and time sheets daily.· Research for projects online or at local and or state agencies.· Utilize Standards of Practice and/or FDOT checklist for product preparation.· Analyze deeds and research materials for production of survey and mapping products.· Assist in Quality Control of field-collected data for submittals. · Assist with survey estimates, surveyor’s reports, and meeting mi...
