GAAP Reporting Senior Accountant

Summary Prosperity Life Insurance Group, LLC is seeking a talented US GAAP Financial Reporting Senior Accountant to assist with the preparation and consolidation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP. Candidates should have strong oral and written communication skills, and experience with life and annuity insurance companies is a strong plus. Major Duties and Responsibilities: - Prepare and record journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting closings. - Perform reconciliations of ledger balances back to source data. - Review and monitor suspense account balances, taking appropriate corrective actions as needed. - Ensure proper intercompany eliminations for consolidation within the financial reporting system. - Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data. - Assist in preparing quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial statements. - Collaborate closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with reporting requirements. - Support auditors and/or state examiners by providing requested information and documentation. - Perform additional responsibilities as required.
